Mentor and learner in a focused online session at Dealvibehub
— Dealvibehub / How it works

Four stages.™
One clear path to mentorship skill.

Most people who want to develop as mentors get stuck because the path forward is vague. This page lays out exactly how Dealvibehub structures the learning experience — from your first assessment through to sustained, practical skill. No ambiguity, no guesswork.

The four-stage process

Each stage has a defined output — you always know what you are working toward.

01—
Assessment and goal mapping

Your assigned mentor reviews your current skills, experience gaps, and what you actually want to achieve. Everything is mapped from your real starting point — no assumptions made about where you should be.

02—
Choosing your session format

Select group cohorts for collaborative peer learning or private one-on-one sessions for focused personal guidance. Both formats follow the same structured curriculum, adapted to your pace and schedule.

03—
Live sessions and applied practice

Attend scheduled live sessions combining instruction with exercises built around real mentoring scenarios. Each session produces something concrete — a framework, a recorded practice conversation, a written plan.

04—
Feedback and path adjustment

After each module, receive direct written feedback and a revised plan if needed. Progress is tracked and the path adapts to what is actually working for you — not a fixed schedule that ignores reality.

What each stage actually involves

Concrete detail on what happens inside the process — not a summary of what you will feel, but what you will do.

Stage 01

Starting from an honest read

The intake session runs for 60 minutes and uses a structured conversation guide developed across three years of delivery. Your mentor is not looking for a polished self-presentation — they are looking for where your current mental model of mentoring actually breaks down.

  • Skill inventory across six mentoring competencies
  • Identification of two or three specific development priorities
  • Written summary shared within 48 hours

Stage 02 – 03

Sessions that produce outputs

Group cohorts meet twice weekly in sessions of 75 minutes. Individual sessions are 50 minutes, scheduled within a 5-day booking window. Neither format is passive — every session ends with a defined deliverable you keep.

  • Group size capped at 10 participants
  • Recordings available for 30 days post-session
  • Peer feedback structured, not open-ended
Stage 04

Feedback with a direction attached

Written feedback arrives within 72 hours of each module completion. It covers what is working, what is not, and what the next module should prioritise. If the original path is no longer the right one, it changes. Most participants see at least one path adjustment between module two and module four — that is expected, not a failure signal.

8–12 wks

Typical completion window for a foundational mentorship skills path, depending on session frequency and independent practice time.

Questions people ask before starting

Practical answers to the things that actually matter when you are deciding whether this is right for you.

Ask something specific
Do I need prior mentoring experience to join?

No prior experience is required. The intake assessment identifies where you are starting from and the curriculum adjusts accordingly. Participants range from complete beginners to those refining an established practice.

What is the difference between group and individual sessions?

Group cohorts follow a shared schedule with 6 to 10 participants, which creates space for peer feedback and collaborative exercises. Individual sessions are scheduled flexibly around your availability and move at your own pace with direct mentor attention throughout.

How long does a typical learning path take?

Most participants complete a foundational mentorship skills path in 8 to 12 weeks, depending on session frequency and how much independent practice time they put in. There is no fixed deadline — the path adjusts to your actual progress.

Are sessions recorded for later review?

Live sessions are recorded and made available to enrolled participants for 30 days after each session. This is intended for review, not as a substitute for attending live — the live interaction is where most of the actual learning happens.
